Kill, skin and prepare a rabbit £65

This course is not for the faint hearted. We breed New Zealand White rabbits for the table and they are the rabbits provided on the course. You will be shown how to kill, gut and skin the rabbit and then you will do it yourselves under supervision. The technique used for killing the rabbit is quick and humane.

You will be given a book which covers rabbit husbandry and despatch as well as how to prepare the skins to make garments or even just furry boot liners. There is not another book in print which covers all aspects of keeping rabbits for meat. The book also includes some delicious rabbit recipes to whet your appetite.

The cost of the course is £65, to include the prepared rabbit to take home and the book.

The next course dates are on the right hand side.
